United Services Club bags the Grover Zampa Vineyards 19th Inter-Club Golf Championship

Mumbai, 16th February 2015: A dazzling evening, delicious wine and a trophy to be rejoiced.  All this and more marked the celebrations at the stunning prize giving dinner at the US Club, Mumbai on Sunday evening. Grover Zampa Vineyards has been associated with the Inter-Cub Golf Championship since the last Eighteen years.


The event has gained in stature, organization and format ever since, and is the most looked forward to tournament by both players and golf buffs. The 2-day golf tournament concluded with a golf party hosted by Grover Zampa Vineyards at the United Services Club. The prizes were handed over by Mr. Kapil Grover, Chairman Grover Zampa Vineyards.

The 19th Grover Zampa Vineyards Inter-Club Golf Championship which was held on 14th February 2015, brought together players from the four leading golf clubs in Western India:  Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC), United Services Club (USC), Willingdon Sports Club (WSC) and Poona Club – Golf, making it the biggest amateur golf event in Mumbai.  Each team was represented by 24 players, of whom 21 played each day. The four clubs were armed with their best golfers, chosen after a rigorous selection process. The championship was co-sponsored by Parle.

The grand prize giving ceremony was attended by socialites and well-known personalities from the golfing fraternity. At the event, guests were seen indulging in delectable food and quality wines from Grover’s stable. Mr. Kapil Grover, Chairman, Grover Zampa Vineyards, played a perfect host as he welcomed the guests with a warm smile.
